China holds an absolute dominant position in the global wig industry chain, particularly excelling in synthetic fiber wigs, currently accounting for 82% of global production capacity. As the world's largest wig industrial cluster, Xuchang in Henan Province achieved a hair product import-export volume of 19.4 billion yuan in 2024. The raw material cost of synthetic wigs produced here is 30%-50% lower than imported products, demonstrating strong cost control capabilities.
Chinese enterprises are transitioning from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing" through technological innovation and brand building. Leading enterprises like Rebecca have developed "breathable net base" technology, which triples product breathability and has obtained 12 international patents; emerging brand OQ Hair has achieved monthly sales exceeding $10 million through TikTok Shop, topping the North American market. Data shows that China's wig fiber market size will exceed 24 billion yuan in 2025, with a CAGR of 14.3%.
